SnapFix guide
Essential steps to clean, compress and share your media with confidence.
1. Install the app
Download SnapFix from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Launch the app : no sign-up needed.
2. Choose a tool
From home or Tools:
- Clean : Remove GPS, EXIF and metadata.
- Compress photo : Reduce size with a preset.
- HEIC → JPG : Convert iPhone photos.
- WhatsApp Video : Trim and target 16 MB.
3. Select a file
Pick a photo or video from your gallery. Recently processed files also appear in Recents for quick access.
4. Adjust options
For photos, choose a preset: 50, 100, 200 or 500 KB, WhatsApp, Email or Max. For cleaning, enable the metadata removal you need. For video, set trim points and target quality.
5. Preview and export
Compare before / after, then save or share. The processed file stays on your device until you send it yourself.
Tips
- Strip metadata before posting a photo taken at home.
- Use the WhatsApp preset to meet size limits.
- Upgrade to Premium in Settings to remove ads.
